Stephen Colbert interviews Congressman Lynn Westmoreland on his controversial bill to place the 10 Commandments in Judicial Buildings. Unfortunately for the Congressman, when Colbert asks him to name the commandments, he can’t! Guess this issue really wasn’t that close to his heart. Which brings up another topic…. using religion to win political power in a country that very clearly mandates separation of church and state. If you’re going to go the religious path, you’d better be religious! Otherwise, you just end up looking like an idiot…. just like Congressman Lynn Westmoreland.
